Cheviot View is situated 1 mile out of the village of Chatton. it’s a lovely walk to the village where there is an award winning pub, post office , shop, Art gallery and Trout Fishery.
Also close by is the ‘haunted’ Chillingham Castle and the Wild Cattle.
15 miles south is the ancient market town of Alnwick which is home to the Duke Of Northumberland, with famous castle, garden and Europe's largest treehouse.
There is a wide variety of shops in the historic town as well as Barterbooks and the Baliffgate Museum.
Bamburgh is only a short drive away with its magnificent castle and beach and the bustling fishing town of Seahouses is a stones through away.
For those who like to walk, Ros Castle is well worth a look at. Once at the top the view of the coast and castles is spectacular.
There is also the opportunity to catch a train from Berwick-Upon- Tweed or Alnmouth and go to Edinburgh or Newcastle for the day.
